Haystack Store Spotlight: Snug on the Danforth

Our back-to-school store of the day has everything you’ll need clothing-wise for infants up to 14-year-olds. And the store is…. Snug on the Danforth!

One couple who was shopping there recently remarked that it’s a one-stop shop for everything you need to clothe your kids! Pretty impressive given the store is not big, but does a fantastic job fitting a lot of wonderful, unique pieces in their space.

They have a beautifully curated selection of kids’ (and women’s) clothing. Charlotte and Karla, long-time employees, are just the right amount of helpful. They greet you once you come in, provide assistance, or let you browse to your heart’s content. They know their inventory inside and out (and they are oh so nice!) so don’t hesitate to ask for help finding something special!

They have a great selection of dog, cat, and horse-themed outfits for boys and girls, as well as backpacks, and the cutest umbrellas to keep your little ones dry.

The low-down on Snug:

Snug has been serving the Danforth neighbourhood for generations! The store’s been in business for 38(!) years, with grandparents who shopped for their own children’s clothes now shopping for their grandkids and their children shopping for their own kids!

Another great thing about the store is it is soooo accessible. There is a parking lot in Carrot Common (they are located in this complex where Big Carrot is on the Danforth between Broadview and Pape), and they are also just off the Chester subway stop. The store is also wheelchair accessible.
