Silly Goose Kids, a beloved toy store in the Danforth/Woodbine area, has been delighting families for over a decade with its charming mix of timeless and trendy toys.
Now run by two cousins, the shop still stocks old-school favourites like wooden pull toys and has added modern hits like Paw Patrol games and playsets. Oh — and if you’ve got a Lego lover in your life, this place is a treasure trove.
For the school year, they have a great selection of backpacks, lunchboxes, food storage items, straws, etc. They carry a line of lunchbox-related items from the brand melii, which is a Canadian company, so you can support local and support Canada made simultaneously. The store has labels specifying which products are Canadian, making it super easy to shop with intention.
Silly Goose offers free same or next day delivery in Toronto for orders over $125 ($8 delivery fee for orders below the minimum), so you can support them, and get fantastic items to equip your child for the school year without having to leave your house. We know it’s really hard to get out sometimes!
