Leslieville Cheese Market will be celebrating 20 years in Leslieville this coming summer, and while they’ve been a long-time staple, they have changed up some of their products over the last few years. Historically, they focused more on specialty items that appeal to British tastes, but now they cater more to French tastes, with a wide selection of snacks and sweets that are imported from France.
Cheese remains their core product, and you’re able to sample their vast array of offerings. Around the holidays, they bring in a lot of special cheeses that aren’t carried at other times of the year, so now is an excellent time to stop in. They tend to get deliveries on Mondays, so that’s the best day of the week to visit for the biggest supply of products.
They have a lot of pantry items and specialty foods, including olives, cured meats, and soups. If you’re putting together a spread for the holidays, you can get everything you’ll need here.
It’s also a great place for gifts. They have some fantastic olive oils in beautiful jars that would make a fantastic gift for anyone and it’s a little off the beaten path from traditional items like wine and chocolate.
