We’ve released our list of food banks! The purpose is twofold:
- Support members of our community who are dealing with food insecurity by making it easy to find food bank locations nearby. We especially want to make it an easier, less daunting experience for those who may not have used these resources in the past.
- Enable members of our community who want to donate to local food banks to easily find drop-off points while out and about shopping locally and supporting the neighbourhood businesses.
If you have any locations to add (drop-off points, food banks, or restaurants that give out food), please let us know! This is a living resource.
Also, please share this post in local Facebook groups, on your own page, on Instagram, and other social media platforms. You never know who may be struggling and not reach out.
