Wanderlust Reflection

Thank you to the Leslieville BIA for putting on such a fantastic Wanderlust event again this year! This past weekend, stores and restaurants had a variety of special activities, promotions, and collaborations! Fun was had by all at the warming stations, live music locations, and holiday tree lighting. Despite the rain, people turned out in droves, so thank you to all the shoppers, diners, and members of the community who supported this fantastic event!

It was an absolute pleasure to visit a number of stores, try a sampling of food and wine, see the holiday displays, learn more about each store’s story, and pick up some special products!

For Clothing, Doll Factory by Damzels had a delightful assortment of holiday pieces that harkened back to the days of fancier dress. There was no shortage of kitty-themed clothing!

Bettencourt Manor lets you decorate your home with an eclectic assortment of modern and vintage pieces. Plenty of additional items that aren’t in their showroom can be found online.

The section of Leslieville on Queen between Carlaw and Jones boasts a variety of jewelry options, from vintage and classic pieces at Daniel Jewellers to custom-made pieces and works by local artists at Anvil Jewellry.

And for food, there is no better place to pick up some holiday gifts like olive oils, advent calendars, and artisanal cheese than Leslieville Cheese Market & Fine Foods. Hooked features a great assortment of sustainably caught fish, with plenty of other items to put together a fabulous spread. And Eadrey Foods has unique items to stock your pantry and set your table with gorgeous dining pieces.
